Gore Park Fountain Presented Award of Excellence

In 2014, the Gore Park Fountain Restoration was presented with an award of excellence in the conservation of buildings, structures, engineering works and landscapes - restoration category by the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP). Located in Hamilton, Ontario, the Gore Park Fountain was constructed in 1860 and then dismantled and put into storage a century later.

Aqua Plans in partnership with Steven Burges Architect (SBA) provided aquatic support for the restoration of this prestigious fountain in the City of Hamilton.  In the City's core this fountain is exposed to the surrounding elements and difficult to achieve proper flow.  With the support of Aqua Plans, the integrity of this historical fountain was maintained, the water clarity was increased and functionality was achieved.
