Located in Burlington Ontario, the Angela Coughlan Pool has been serving the local community for over 40 years. In 2019, a renovation project began which provided important and necessary repairs and upgrades to the facility. Completed in September 2020, the more efficient, up-to-date and modern facility includes the following:

  • Partial pool deck replacement around the lap-pool
  • Retiling of the lap-pool deck
  • Lap-pool tank repairs
  • New HVAC and upgraded dehumidification system
  • New LED lighting
  • Plumbing improvements
  • Universal changeroom

Building on our portfolio of aquatic projects for the City of Burlington, our design services for the Angela Coughlan Pool included the following:


  • Design services for the full refinishing of the pool deck
  • Design services for waterproofing of the pool deck
  • Design services and engineering for recirculation system plumbing replacement around the pool tank
  • Design and specification for a new climbing wall feature
  • Design and specification for new tactile attention indicators around the pool perimeter for person with vision impairments to ensure the pool is in compliance with all local and AODA requirements and regulations
  • Ensure all new work around  the pool was in compliance with all updated Ontario Building Code and Health Regulations
