Located in Sarnia Ontario, Pathways Health Centre for Children is a family-centered community agency that serves Lambton County children and youth with physical, developmental and communication needs and their families, as well as adults for some specialized services. As one of a large group of Children’s Treatment Centres in the province of Ontario, the Centre provides a continuum of rehabilitation and support services in the community as well as an on-site integrated child care service.

Their existing pool was over 30 years old, and was in need of a major renovation to ensure the needs of the community were being met, and that the healthiest, cleanest, and safest swimming water possible was being provided to the swimmers who needed it most. Aqua Plans provided the design of the upgraded, state-of-the-art recirculation system to help meet these requirements.

The new system includes a UV sanitization systems, Defender Regenerative Media Filter, increased flow rates, VFD controlled pumps, and countless other safety enhancements.

The project also included a full pool tank refurbishment, with new tile finish, powder coated safety rails, and new anti-slip deck surfacing.
