Welland Memorial Pool

Aqua Plans Aquatic Consultants Inc. completed the full design of the new Welland Memorial Pool, which replaced the old Memorial Pool that was over 60 years old.

The new pool tank includes a large family friendly and accessible beach entry with spray geysers, gradual entry teaching steps, a separate accessibility ramp into the lap area, 3 x 50M lap lanes, and diving area complete with a 1M Diving Board and 16 foot high climbing wall.

Also included in the overall project is a new accessible friendly bathhouse, change house, and various shade structures located around the new pool deck, the shape of which pays homage to the unique design of the original Memorial Pool tank.
